Jenny, I assume you are nor referring to me? lol
Hiking is nice here. Do it when you are back! Just keep your antennas out and your eyes open and you will be fine!
Thanks I enjoy every second.

Today was a very lazy day for me.
A bit of sport in the morning and a movie in the afternoon. The movie was "Two Thumbs Up" funny story starring Francis Ng, Simon Yam and one of my favorite cantopop singers Leo Ku. Francis Ng quite often does crazy characters, I enjoy watching him. Simon Yam is wearing a totally hilarious wig in this movie. As for Leo Ku, he did a few movies before but I never really enjoyed watching him acting - until today`s movie.
Only two photos today.
Clouds above HK island.
And a beautiful sunset from Ocean Terminal.
... enjoy ... _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Seems to me there is no photo unfriendly weather can stop making your pics beautiful . I like the look of the mysterious foggy HK, not just because most of HK pics were shut on a clear day .
Enjoy the rest of your stay in HK . |

Thanks for the wishes you two!
Right Helga, a little digesting every now and then is useful. But it`s also important, since I`m on my feet from around 8/8.30am to 8/9pm with a mix of running, walking, hiking each day to give the body enough rest.
thanks yitian! It always depends how one looks at things. It was an amazing sky and the photo doesn`t show half of how it really looked like.
As for yesterday, it was a lazy day again. I met Agnes at noon for Dim Sum so I could go for a run in the morning and met friends for dinner.
OK, I remember the left was squid on the right is bbq pork bun and the lower something with shrimp. Right Agnes?
All have been Agnes` picks - super tasty.
We had a fourth dish but I forgot to take a pic.
As dessert we had black sesame soup.
Afterwards I watched "Insanity" biig recommendation. Lau Ching Wan did a great job.
For dinner friends took me to this restaurant, they say it`s famous, of course I trust them.
Squid
Sweet and sour pork on the left and shrimp on the right

Btw. if you guys get bored of my photos, tell me and I stop.
A caterpillar I`ve seen after my morning run after I caught my breath again.
Today I went to Stanley.
A fisherman doing his work.
There is a Gwun Yam temple I haven`t been to. Yes believe it or not there are still many, many places in HK I haven`t been to.
The temple itself is quite small for such a tall statue but it`s nice and quiet - to put one`s mind at ease, just what I needed today.
Nice flowers.
This looks like aliens have invaded HK but it`s only some kind of boat - I think.

All it matters is how HK looks like through your camera lense

Friends I need a shoulder to cry on, better make that at least two. It seems the memory card in my mobile phone is damaged and ALL the photos I've taken with my mobile (most of the photos I took with my small camera but anyway, selfies, ...) are gone!!!

Today I went to Tung Chung to visit Lo Hon Monastery.
Nice garden, unfortunately closed.
Gwun Yam, I guess
Main hall
Afterwards I went to Yau Tong and went up Devil`s Peak. This was once a fortification - google it.
And this looks awfully like the scene in "Bullet in the head" in the beginning when they went into hiding. Does anyone agree? Or can someone confirm?
It looks a lot like it, now more and more nature is taking over. I didn`t dare to go down, I already was in a forbidden spot, I went over a barrier to make that shot and locals have been around and looking.
HK island on the left and old Kai Tak airport on the right.
It was so nice up there, sat for over one hour, then my heart rate monitor went "beep" and told me it was time to move - which I still didn`t. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Thanks for your shoulder Helga!
I could cry.
Usually I am that person fixing such stuff, no success yet. But I haven't given up yet.
Regarding bith, maybe I'll go up again and do some shots from different angle, provided no one is around.

Ooooooh, poor Heike
You can have both of my shoulders to cry on
If I were you, I would stop using this damaged card and buy a new one for your mobile phone. There are various software claiming to be able to recover the content from a damaged card, since this problem happens from time to time . But I probably would hand it into a capable expert's hands, before the data is permanently lost ......
At the mean time, hope you still can fully enjoy your visit in HK, with companies of very colorful caterpillars..... in addition to good friends and beautiful scenery .
BTW, the place where you think might be featured in BITH, I will have to check my DVD because my memory is like your damaged card ..... And be careful to go taking more shots . |

Thanks yitian! The strange thing is only the photos from the last 11 days are gone. Storage is working.
As for BITH, I watched it on youtube, gonna get up there later. It is the right place gonna show you guys. I hope no one will be around. Don't worry I'll be careful.
To quote a line from the tv series MASH: Have fun and behave, and if you cannot be careful. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |
