Hello Everyone,

Tokyo International Film Festival started today.
As usual, lots of actors walked on Eco Green Carpet this afternoon.
I remember that we were waiting for Tony all day long and just caught slight sight of Tony's back in the middle of SPs 2 years ago. Crying or Very sad

Here is the link if any of you are interested in;

I personally don't go to TIFF this year, because I am involved with COP10.
Have you heard about Biological Diversity ? It is very important for the environment.

If you are interested, you can find out more on internet.

We will be welcoming Mr. Harrison Ford next week.

Hi Eri and everyone,

I was there for a short time before watching the program.
It seems actors and actresses had time to (i.e. may be they’re allowed to) approach the audiences.

Yes. It was a very very very long day for us . Tiring and at the same time really exciting (because we didn’t know
when Red Cliff casts are coming) But I enjoyed TIFF 2008 very much !! Very Happy Very Happy
Thank God this time prime minister didn’t show up this time. Ha ha..
Hope to see Tony again, but not in the middle of many SPs........ Wink

So sad most of the movies that I ‘d like to watch are scheduled on weekdays.
I don’t think not so many working people are lucky enough to watch programs fixed during weekdays…

For Cop10 , it must be difficult to reach the agreement or agreeable solution, but
it’s certainly an urgent mission for all nations to consider.

Have to go now for Roppongi (TIFF)

Have a nice weekend Waving

Hi Helga and everyone,

I saw Catherine Deneuve (on stage appearance) last weekend . She’s really elegant and radiates a strong aura.
Can’t believe she’s 67 yrs old !!! Shocked Surprised Shocked
As for the film "Potiche"…very cute but I prefer Francois Ozon’s past films with more serious and realistic drama…

Have you already watched “ The Solitude by Prime Numbers “(by Saverio Costanzo, Italy) and
“Essential Killing” (by Jerzy Skolimowski, Poland-Norway-Ireland- Hungary) ?
These are out of competition. I really wanted to watch but I couldn’t get the tickets.. Crying or Very sad

TIFF is over now.

Grand Prix goes to "Intimate Grammar"

The Audience Award goes to "Sarah's Key"

http://www.tiff-jp.net/report/daily_en.php?itemid=1710

I personally wanted to watch "Brighton Rock"

http://www.tiff-jp.net/report/daily_en.php?itemid=1705

There were also some Asian films out of competition, and I would like to watch them if I ever have a chance later.

Also COP10 reached the agreement finally after very very long negotiation.

I really hope this is going to be (even a little) help for the future of the Earth.

Hi Eri

Thanks for sharing link to COP10, very interesting.

I was just wondering what your involvement with COP10 was, hope you enjoyed the experience in such a worthy cause.

Best wishes...mary.

Dear Mary,

Thank you for showing some interests.
As Tony also said, it is a very important issue now.

I helped one presentation of international youth project for Environment.
Of course I am not one of the youth members Laughing , just a helper. Wink
