Hi Helga and everyone,
I've bought it first thing today morning, but Tony is nowhere in sight. Aufwiedersehen, my friend.
Maybe on September edition?

Oh, Kat
What a disappointment !
That's the information I've heard. Probably delayed by some reason and going to be on the next issue ?
I think name of the magazine is Italian "Vogue". |

Hi Kat and Eri
Surprisingly I could order this italian Vogue here and will get it tomorrow - or at the latest- on Monday.
Hahahaha - I was too impatient , but fortunately I can give it back, if it is "not the right one" !!!!! (and order in Sept. the next)
There exists a chinese Vogue too - or original french ? .....there are so many different issues maybe a missunderstanding or as you suppose -
delayed and in another edition. We´ll have to relax, wait and drink a cup of tea - icetea!
Next problem : How to put the photos into Forum ??? (I once tried and was not able ) - do you know ? |

Dear Kat,
I just checked July issue of Italian "Vogue" and found out that there is another magazine called "L'UOMO VOGUE" published by the same company.
This magazine's JUL/AUG issue specially titled "UNIQUE PEOPLE".
Isn't it likely to be the issue with Tony's photos ?
This one's cover photo is a man called ED RUSCHA.
I can't be absolutely sure, but Tony might be one of the "UNIQUE PEOPLE".
If it is possible, could you find out more about this magazine ?
I've just checked internet. This magazine is about men's fashion and entertainment, so I think it is more likely to be this one. |

Hello everyone,
I went to some bookstores in Tokyo, but only Vogue Italia July issue was available at the moment.
There are several versions of Vogue published in several countries.
I think Tony's article may be appearing in L'uomo Vogue version, too. (???)
I'm looking forward to watching and reading translation of the article .
We're counting on you, Kat !
(I hope we're not putting too much pressure on you.)
Please let us know the content when you have time. |

Hi girls,
Thanks for your help!
In these last few days I've bought: Elle, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Clair.
Tomorrow will be "L'uomo Vogue" (Vogue Men).
Will do!

... Forgot to ask you...
ARE YOU STILL SILLY SMILING AFTER TEA PARTY WITH TONY??????????
After a single card I silly smiled for two months (and still carry it in my bag )! Aaahh! (hub still looks me dirty from time to time. He's a charming man, but with a jealous streak a mile wide).
I am very, very happy for you all! For you great girls it's the stuff fairytales are made of, a dream come true. For Tony is a great thing to have nice loyal friends to spend time with.
MegaKiss & Hug
... Rocky Soundtrack (Eye of the Tiger), please...

Look,
I went on the internet, cover of Vogue Uomo Jul/Aug, to the article Yuko mentioned. The only asian representative seems to be Hidetoshi Nakata.
I will control with the real magazine.
Even so, I start to think Tony would be on Sept/Oct issue, to promote the soon on our screens "Red Cliff" and contemporary to the Rome Film Festival.
Keep you informed.
Kiss

Hi Kat and girls,
Yes, I also looked at the contents of the Jul/Aug issue, and I think it must be impossible to put the photos which were taken at that time on the magazine sold in late June.
So probably Sep issue of "L'UOMO VOGUE" which will be sold at the end of August ?
We should wait a little longer. |

Hi,Kat and everyone,
I checked Vogue L’Uomo Jul/Aug edition in the bookstore , too.
To my surprise I found there’s several pages of Nakata’s article.
I know that he’d been playing at Italian league for several years,
but he has less attention in Japan nowadays.....

That seems very convincing. (General screening starts around Nov.?)
...Forgot to tell you.. kat.
I thought I could swim back home across the Pacific Ocean with
a very silly smile on my face. Actually, I think I looked so strange
that no one at the airport immigration office (HK/Tokyo) dare to
question or stop me.
I know smiling is international protocol, but in my case it may have
different aspects.???ha-ha
Please keep us informed of Italian Vogue!
Thank you in advance

Oh, Yuko,
you're always great!
Yes, I think we all deserve a small quota of silly smiles.
It's what life is about, isn't it?
Thanks Tony!
I'm starting to feel worried about the RIFF. You are all so great, it will be hard being as good as you covering the event.
I'll have to go out of my trademark laziness , but I'll do my best as a forum member.
Big Hug, Keep Silly Smiling!!!!!!!!!!!!

... About Nakata,
he was taken by an italian team (don't ask me which, I don't follow the sport) foreseeing the World's Championship. To attract the very numerous japanese audience to Italy.
Business, as usual...
Kiss!
