After waiting too long, I finally saw COP (in dvd). I liked its noirish style (noir being my fav genre) and what can one say about Mr. Leung's impeccable and minimalist acting that hasn't been said and raved about before? Even the music was atmospherically in tune.
This is a great film to watch after Red Cliff, although it came out first, as it is somewhat relaxing visually.
As for our idol's role in that film- in the begining it isn't what one would expect from him but as the story unfolds and ends one realizes why he chose that role. It is a subdued but very painful role and it goes to show that he chooses his roles/films well and intelligently.
Thank you Mr. Leung for sharing your art with us. |

Yes that is a great movie. I enjoy watching crime films, and of course he gave a strong performance once again. |

Maybe you would be pleased to know, this movie is going to be on TV after midnight here (12.20am) in Sydney on SBS, so if I can stay up I'll try to watch again. |

Nice! I hope you were able to watch it and had a good time.
I could use a "fix" myself (when is the new film ever coming out?) and probably watch "L, C" " again this weekend heh...
