Calcium is important for bone health throughout one's life. Most people get their Calcium through daily food intake (beef-bone soup; pork-bone soup; cheese, milk and yogurt; tofu, soy-based food, etc).
However, it's not necessary to eat these things everyday, you can get Calcium Supplements at any drug store. Your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. Getting enough sun exposure is good too.

Vitamin A can be supplemented by eating more carrots.
Vitamin B can be supplemented by eating more green vegetables.
Vitamin C can be supplemented by eating more fruits (oranges, apples, pears, etc.)
Vitamin D can be supplemented by eating more nutritious food (fish, fish oil, eggs, pork, beef, chicken, etc).
Is there a Vitamin E? I think so, but if you get to that stage of thinking of taking in Vitamin E, I highly suggest a Vitamin complex is the way to go. (Daily Vitamin Complex for youth, adults, and seniors). |
