had no idea this existed and was out there. I don't think it was a "deleted scene", though. It was out of character. More like an impromptu- our fav couple unwinding in between scenes...

This funny looking deleted scene, mixed in a sad story .
It somehow reminds me Pulp Fiction . Is it a dancing style of the 60s ?
I wonder what the film would look like if it was incorporated .
There was another deleted scene, which inspired me to try out durian for the first time .
Delicious, isn't it

Thanks yitian for adding to this topic.
So, indeed that scene was an outtake. Why did WKW not include it in the final cut? My guess is it would have ruined the "mood" and flow of the story, especially visually. It would be like a rap inserted into a ballad. _________________ There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about and that is not being talked about.

Agree, this would be too awkward to be included in the film. However, it's always nice to watch this dance scene as a stand-alone piece |

I made screencaps of the dance scene, and put them on Photobucket a year, or so, ago. The Criterion Collection version of In the Mood for Love has great bonus features. _________________ "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx |
