7-3-2003, a birthday report from our friend Fox. Many Thanks!
Around 50 fans from Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong had a birthday party
with Tony last Saturday(6-28-2003). This time, we had it privately, hence,
there was no news coverage on it. Tony spent five hours with fans, taking
photos, signing autographs, answering fans' questions etc. Tony specifically
told fans that there was no need to prepare presents for him, he preferred fans
to send him cards instead. Tony was in a very good mood. Fans asked Tony
loads of questions. Just quote a few examples below:
Fans: When you wake up in the morning, what would you bring to the toilet?
TL: Newspaper.
Fans: What time do you go to bed?
TL: 11 (putting up both of his index fingers)
Fans: What is your favourite food?
TL: Sushi.
Fans: What kind of activities do you enjoy most during your leisure?
TL: Skiing.
Fans: What did you do on your birthday?
TL: Dine with the family.
Fans: Would you keep all the presents from fans? Throughout all these
years? Where would you keep it? There must be loads of them, right?
TL: Yes. Yes. My home. Yes, that's why I say there is no need to give
presents to me. I have trouble to house them all. Seriously, I would be very
happy to receive just a simple card. I would put the cards in the living room,
and when I wake up in the morning, I can see them.
